Last year we had the pleasure of working with our friend Kate Snyder of Studio Roslyn on a custom version of Total for her freshly renovated Vancouver home. Kate chose an Italian cotton-linen blend in a beautiful shade of chocolate brown. The warm, nostalgic textile contrasts with the modern lines and slim steel frame of Total to create a unique combination that is perfectly at home in Kate's eclectic space. Surrounding the sofa is a collection of items that are deeply personal to Kate and her husband James. Artwork from family members and souvenirs from trips abroad blend seamlessly with original elements from the 1980s build. Kate's apartment manages to capture the ethos of her studio's work, while preserving the richness and authenticity of a lived-in home. Read more about the project here.
